I always tell my mom that if our house was big enough, I would probably buy everything that catches my eye. And that’s exactly where the issue lies.
There have been times when I brought a product impulsively because someone on TikTok was promoting it. And guess what! It never got used. A few impulse purchases made me realize how stupid I was at times, so much so that I didn’t think twice before swiping my card. This, of course, has changed over time.
Irrespective of how impulsive I have been in the past, there are products that I never regretted buying. And the best part is that I went on to make repeated purchases of these products either for myself or my family and friends.
Now it’s your turn to experience the magic of these products. And I promise you won’t regret buying them either:
1. Tire Pressure Gauge
I never actually knew that I needed this car accessory until I finally bought it. I remember those sudden drives to the gas station to get the tire pressure checked. And that’s all because I didn’t know that there was literally a living gadget that could do it in a few seconds right from the comfort of my car trunk.
All I have to do is aim it at the tire inflation port and press firmly for two seconds to know the tire pressure. Wow! This product is magical!
2. Ultrasonic Lens Cleaner
I have worn glasses ever since I was 12. As much as I loved wearing contact lenses, I would avoid it because there was always a risk of them being contaminated or unsterilized. Well, who wants to risk their eyesight?
This was before I came across ultrasonic lens cleaner that helped me sterilize my lenses in a few seconds. This product works on three modes and literally makes me want to wear lenses as often as possible.
I wonder if my glasses miss me now.
3. Portable Mini Washing Machine
I remember living in a dormitory with 60 other girls who all had to share just one washing machine. If they would have organized a wrestling tournament to decide who gets to wash their clothes first, I’m pretty sure each one of us would have competed in it.
I was tired of waiting to do my laundry and almost gave up on it before one of my roommates bought this mini portable washing machine for herself. And as soon as I saw her using it, I knew I had to buy it too. This was surely the best investment I had made, which is evident from the fact that I still carry it during my work trips or long travel expeditions.
4. Portable Clothes Dryer
When I went solo travelling for the first time, every single piece of cloth that I had ended up getting wet on a dreadful rainy day. This was the first instance when I dreamt about having a portable clothes dryer.
This product has stayed with me since then and my Mom loves it more than I do. We carry it along on our family trips and also use it to dry clothes at home every now and then.
5. Shower Slippers
Feel free to call me weird but I can’t imagine showering without my slippers on. I also hated the fact that my slippers would keep spilling water around the house after I had taken a shower.
While going on a casual hunt for shower slippers in my local market, I came across this gorgeous pair of shark slippers with drain holes. Needless to say, life has never been the same.

2022 was the year when I had to deal with a lot of hair breakage issues. There was no evident reason why this would happen but I was sure that I couldn’t afford losing more hair. And then there was a short-term acne breakout. Huh!
I didn’t want to go on meds to deal with my hair and skin issues, and hence decided to look for a natural route. Apart from using a few good home remedies, I got myself a satin pillowcase that has been proven to help with hair fall and skin problems. Now that I am doing good in the hair and skin department, I don’t know if this can be attributed to this satin pillowcase. But I do know that this product certainly helps my hair and skin relax while I sleep. So I’m certainly not letting go of it anytime soon.
7. Multifunctional Onion Dicer
I wasn’t too much into cooking before both my parents developed serious illnesses and the entire responsibility of cooking fell upon me. As much as I loved feeding my parents with food cooked by me, I hated the task of cutting and chopping so much so that I would often ask my house help to do it for me.
I won’t be lying when I say that there are indeed a lot of chopping and cutting tools in my kitchen, but this multifunctional onion dicer outperforms them all. It’s easy to use and literally chops everything that needs to go in my food. I use it to cut french fries, onion, tomato, cucumber and radish.
8. Soup Thermos
My Dad loves soup but there was no way that he could carry it to work. The regular thermoses and insulated bottles weren’t effective enough in keeping the soup hot till his lunch time. This was, of course, before I got him this soup thermos that was not just handy enough to carry to work but also effective in keeping the contents hot.
It has a capacity of 430 ml and literally looks so cute that I would have bought it anyway.
9. Portable Neck Fan
Although neck fans came to the limelight pretty recently, I had bought one a few years ago. As someone who had to take a 10-minute walk to work every morning, buying this neck fan felt like a natural investment to me.
As much as I hate the fact that human neck is the most perspiring part of their body, I’m still glad to have found this product that ensures that my neck isn’t sweaty and stinky after a short walk in the sun.
