1. Create A Country Kitchen

Country kitchens are quite a trend these days and can look great if designed the right way.

As evident from the bamboo ceiling, the designer here has used natural recyclable architecture to bring this kitchen to life. They have used beige tones for the sustainable parquet floor and wooden shelves to stay close to the concept.

While the neutral wall paint makes the space look cozy, the gorgeous hardwood floating shelves help maximize the storage space. The overall look of this kitchen has been elevated with the greenery used in the form of wall-hanging plants and a few pots here and there.

2. Built–In Bar

Kitchens with a bar or an eat-in counter have always been a trend, but the designer here has taken a different route by having a built-in bar as the focal point of this kitchen. This gorgeous hardwood bar adds to the simplicity of this kitchen while still making it look stylish and elegant. The best thing about having built-in bars is that they are more affordable than the modern eat-in counters and still create a bigger impact if built around the color palette of your kitchen.

3. A Textured Wall

Sometimes, all it takes for a kitchen to look inviting is a simple textured wall. The designer here has taken a minimalist route and has managed to create a big impact with their simple choice of décor. The open shelf and the stick-on cutlery board amp up the look of this kitchen without making it look overly cluttered. You may also notice how uniquely the sink has been installed to give this minimalist kitchen a touch of modernism.

4. Lots Of Earthy Tones

If you want to have lots of earthy tones to evoke a vibe of nature in your kitchen, a modern French country kitchen might just be your thing.

You may notice how the designer here has brought earthy tones with the furniture and the floating shelves on the wall. The potted greenery, which appears to be succulents and herbs, perfectly complements the earthy vibes of this kitchen thereby making it look flawlessly wholesome.

5. Open-Concept Floor Plan: Use Pendant Lights In The Kitchen

In an open-concept floor plan, the space allocated to kitchen is usually less in comparison to the closed-concept floor plan. Hence, you need to design your kitchen in such a way that it can be visually differentiated from the dining and living room area. Besides using the counter to separate the kitchen from the rest of the space, the designer here has used low-hanging pendant lights and lots of ceiling bulbs to make the space look roomier and brighter. The amazing lighting sets the mood of the kitchen making it stand out from the rest of the space.

6. Soft Touches

Your kitchen needs to be a properly lit space which is why most people like to go for white or other soft colors to paint their kitchen. But what if you want your kitchen to have touches of black or other bold colors without turning it into a dark and cold-looking area?

Here’s the trick.

Instead of painting the entire area in a bold color, go for soft touches of black (or another bold color) here and there. This kitchen looks breathtaking with a touch of black on the chimney and bottom cabinets. While the wooden furniture and countertop add a touch of nature, the yellow and soft blue walls act as a contrasting factor against the bold color and make the space look cozy.

7. Coastal Vibes

Bring all the coastal feels right into your kitchen by painting the walls in a soft blue color. Make sure that you don’t end up using too much of this color in your kitchen else it may look awkward and unwelcoming.

This kitchen, for example, has been built around a coastal theme and has a perfect blend of white and soft blue colors making it look like an absolute treat to the eyes. Don’t overlook the coastal plants kept on the countertops that perfectly set the mood of the space.

8. Top To Toe In Floating Shelves

Considering how great a storage option they are, it’s almost impossible to imagine a kitchen without floating shelves. But how exactly do you have lots of floating shelves without cluttering your kitchen wall?

Well, here’s how you can do it. This kitchen has a narrow section of the wall dedicated to floating shelves that are being used for storage as well as for displaying the decor. You may also notice the beige wall paint that has been used to distinguish this section from the rest of the space.
