I love making these Baked Yogurt Dream Cups when I want an easy dessert for a party or special occasion. They’re really easy to make, even if baking isn’t your thing.
They’re great for Thanksgiving dinners, family gatherings, or smaller get-togethers. I like serving them in individual glasses because they’re easy to portion and look pretty on the dessert table.

Made with yogurt, saffron, and sweetened condensed milk, these cups are creamy with a mild sweetness and plenty of saffron flavor. You can also make them ahead and keep them refrigerated until you’re ready to serve. They’re simple enough to make at home but nice enough to serve to guests.
How to Make Yogurt Dream Cups
INGREDIENTS:
- 3.5 oz (100 grams) sweetened condensed milk
- 7 oz (200 grams) plain yogurt
- 2 oz (60 grams) heavy cream
- A pinch of saffron, soaked in 1 tbsp milk

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. In a deep mixing bowl, add the yogurt, condensed milk, and heavy cream. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.

2. Soak a pinch of saffron in 1 tablespoon of warm milk for a few minutes. Add the saffron milk and whisk until everything is well combined.

3. Divide the mixture evenly among oven-safe glasses or ramekins.

4. Place the glasses or ramekins in a baking dish. Top with saffron strands. Carefully pour hot water into the baking dish until it reaches about halfway up the sides of the glasses or ramekins. Bake at 320°F (160°C) for approximately 15 minutes, or until the yogurt is just set.

5. Remove from the water bath and allow the cups to cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until thoroughly chilled.

6. Once chilled, garnish with chopped pistachios and rose petals. Serve cold.

Serve and Enjoy!
Important Recipe Notes:
- Make ahead: These Yogurt Dream Cups can be prepared in advance and kept refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.
- Cover before baking: Loosely cover the glasses with aluminum foil before placing them in the oven. This keeps the tops from browning too quickly as the yogurt mixture bakes.
- Customize the flavor: You can also add a different flavor if you like. Mix a few drops of your favorite essence into the cream and whisk briefly to incorporate. Whisk for no more than 10 seconds so the cream doesn’t become too thick.
